Honoring the Past

Our mission has been built on a tradition of excellence since 1945. For seven decades the name Brooks has been associated with quality construction and agricultural equipment in the upper Midwest.

It all began when Lewis P. Brooks returned to Sun Prairie in 1945 after serving as a U.S. Army combat medic during World War II. He decided he had a future selling farm implements, which he had done before the war. With some borrowed capital and a partner, he opened a Ford-Ferguson dealership in a century-old wood frame building near downtown Sun Prairie.

Celebrating the Present

While still a family-owned business, much has changed since 1945. The company is now a multi-branch, premier construction equipment and a construction positioning products dealer with seven locations across Wisconsin.

We have the equipment you need for rent or ownership and the most cost effective, technology driven solutions available.

Building the Future

State of the Art Facilities - In addition to updating our facilities on an ongoing basis, we have added locations to provide more convenient service centers. Plover was added in 2014, Mount Pleasant in 2017, and we recently opened a store in Sparta, located in Monroe County.
